KURZ, HUNTER, SAUER, LEWIS, BROWN

McGregor, Ia. - Services for Fred Kurz, 77, native of McGregor, who died at Peoria, Ill., on Monday, June 19, were held at the Pilkington Funeral Home here Friday afternoon, the Rev. E.H. Shuey, conducting the service. Burial was in McGregor.

Mr. Kurz has lived at Peoria since leaving McGregor a good many years ago, having employment there with the Woodruff Ice Company. His wife, the former Kate Hunter, of Marquette, died eleven years ago.

Surviving are a son, Fred Jr., of Peoria, a brother Charles Kurz, of Baker, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Sauer, of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Andy Lewis, of Glasgow, Mont. In McGregor for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kurz Jr., of Peoria, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Sauer, Rockford, and a nephew, Howard Brown, of Havre, Mont.
