Volga City, Ia. - Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Illyria church for Kenneth Chase, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Chase, farmers north of Volga City, who died Saturday at his home. He accidently took an overdose of medicine that he had been taking regularly for an ailment.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister Helen; a brother, Willis Arthur; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Chase of Volga, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Herman of Elgin. Burial was in the Illyria cemetery, north of Volga City.
