Nicholas F. Grady, 56, of 1551 Bluff street, died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy hospital. He had been seriously ill two days.
Friends may call at the Behr funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be held from the funeral home here to St. Patrick's church at Monona, Ia., at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Grady was born May 30, 1893, in Monona. He came to Dubuque 20 years ago. He was last employed at Finley hospital. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He was a Catholic.
Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. James (Margaret) Hunter of North Branch, Minn.; Mrs. Catherine Milligan, of Dubuque; Mrs. Thomas (Olive) Ormsby, of Osage, Ia.; three brothers, John Grady, of Waukon; Ambrose Grady, of Chicago, and Andrew Grady, of Kansas City, Mo.; and by nieces and nephews. He was preceded by two sisters and a brother.
