Services Held For Mark Howard, 3

Funeral services were held Friday, July 21, 1978, at 11 a. m. at the Garden City United Methodist Church with Rev. Carroll Brown officiating for Mark Howard, 3 year old son of Leroy and Betty Howard, Monona.

Mrs Ivon Schultz was the organist and Mrs. Tom James soloist. Pallbearers were William Hazlett, Jr., Donald Montgomery, Jr., Robert Walz and Harland Kottman.

Mark Leroy Howard was born December 17, 1974, the son of Leroy and Betty Wiethorn Howard at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Iowa. He was baptized by Rev. Pacholke of the Garden City United Methodist Church. On Tuesday evening, July 18, 1978, he was injured when struck by a car. He died at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin having reached the age of 3 years, 7 months, and 1 day. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Leroy and Betty, his sister Sarah Lynn, his grandparents Harvey and Edith Howard, and Wilbert and Gretchen Wiethorn of Monona, his great grandmother Mrs. Clara Wiethorn, his twelve uncles and aunts, and many other relatvies and friends.
