Mary Ann Anderson

Funeral services for Mary Ann Anderson were held Saturday, April 18, 1987, 10:30 a.m. at the Marion Lutheran Church in Gunder. The Rev. William Palmquist officiated. Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Church Cemetery.

Mary Ann Anderson, daughter of Robert Benjamin and Mary (Bigler) Wettleson, was born February 1, 1927 at Postville, Iowa. She died Wednesday, April 15 in Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Marion Lutheran Church in Gunder. She attended the rural schools of Grand Meadow Township and was graduated from Postville High School in 1944.

Mary Ann was the mother of three children. She was employed by the Deco Products Company of Decorah for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, David, who died in 1973.

Surviving are two daughters, Dawn Anderson and her fiance, Keith Andersen, Denise and her husband, Randy Baugher, of Tyler, TX, 4 grandchildren, Courtney Marie, Amanda Beth, Adam Richard and Matthew Randall Baugher, 2 brothers, Robert Wayne Wettleson and his wife, Wanda, and Roger Wettleson and his wife, Carol, all of Postville, and a sister, Lois and her husband, Raymond Schnuelle of Castalia.

She was a member of the Marion Lutheran Church and the ALCW.

Casket Bearers were Randy Schnuelle, Ricky Schnuelle, Jeff Wettleson, Greg Wettleson, Doug Wettleson and Marcus Wettleson.
