Grace Anderson
Mrs. Clarence (Grace) Anderson was born November 24, 1908, in Marion Township to Thove and Julia Kjosa. Mrs. Anderson died March 22, 1974, at the Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisc.
Grace attended the Vellersven School. The family lived in St. Olaf, Elgin and in 1930 moved to Elkader. She was a member of the ALCW.
November 12, 1930, Grace was married to Clarence Anderson at the St. Olaf Parsonage. To this union one son was born, Carroll Gene, of Des Moines, Iowa.
Survivors besides her husband and son are two sisters, Mrs. Glen Larson, Elkader, and Mrs. Willie Bergan, Postville; two brothers, Louis Kjosa, McGregor and Kenneth Kjosa, Elgin. Also surviving is one grandchild.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 25 at the Marion Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Robert Henriksen officiated. Pallbearers were Walter Rugland, Donald Wold, Leo Olson, Willis Ott, Franklin Wacker and Marion Loftsgard.
