Funeral services for Mrs. Herb Ihde, 67, of Monona, were held on Wednesday, June 20, 1973, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Monona, with Pastor R. E. Langholz and Intern Bob Slade officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Ihde died suddenly at 4:30 a.m. June 18, at her home.
Edna Krambeer, daughter of John J. Krambeer and Clara Nee Henkes, was born on April 18, 1906, in Wagner Township, Clayton County, Iowa. She attended the Eno Grade School near Gunder.
She was married to Herbert Ihde on April 30, 1924, in the Evangelical Church in Monona. They made their home on a farm 4 miles south of Monona until they moved to present home in Monona in 1970.
She had been baptized on April 14, 1924, was confirmed on December 17, 1933, and was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Monona at the time of her death.
She had been ill for the last several months and died suddenly at her home on Monday morning at the age of 67 years and 2 months.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert, two sons, Calvin of Garnavillo and Eugene of Monona; two brothers, Harold of Farmersburg and Myron of New Albin; two sisters, Lucille (Mrs. Louis McNally) and Irma (Mrs. Robert Meyer), both of Postville, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Lester, Kenneth, Gerald, Burnell and Verdell; one sister, Lorene Neverman, and one grandchild, Lois Ihde.
Pallbearers were her four grandchildren, Lynn, Allen, Daryl and Douglas Ihde, and four nephews, Alvin Lenth, L'Dean Krambeer, Myron Ihde and Robert Meyer, Jr.
