KLINK, WISTRICK, BENTE

Elkader, Ia. - Funeral services were held at the farm residence and at the Evangelical Church here for Mrs. L.L. Klink, 59, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Klink died Wednesday evening at a Waterloo hospital where she had gone for an operation. She died before being operated on.

She was a nurse for many years. She made her home in this community most of her life.

~Note: 1930 US census gives her name as Elizabeth C. and her husband as Louis L. The 1925 Iowa State census enumerates her as 'Lizzie' and gives her parents as Henry & Mary (Bente) Wistrick. Both of these census indicate a birth year of 1877, rather than 1880.
