Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Miss Mary Anne Uhl, 65, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. P.J. Boyle. Burial was in Strawberry Point Cemetery.
Miss Uhl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Uhl, was born at Harrisburg, Pa., on Aug. 21, 1873. When a child she came west with her parents, first settling in Delaware County. IN 1893 they moved to Arlington and a few years later to Strawberry Point where Miss Uhl conducted a millinery store for 30 years.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Maude Liddy of Manchester; four brothers, George of Strawberry Point, Steven of Waterloo, Lucius of Ryan, and William of Jordan, Mont.
