BALCER, VAUGHN, BACHTELL

McGregor, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Ludwig Balcer, 39, who died at the McGregor Hospital Friday following a brief illness, were held at the Methodist Church here Monday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. G.W. McMicheal, pastor, officiating.

Born at Wardin on April 21, 1899, Mrs. Balcer later attended school at Luana. On Sept. 25, 1919, she was married to Ludwig Balcer at Cedar Rapids, since which time she made her home here.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Robert and Charles; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Vaughn of Elkader; a sister, Mrs. Fred Bachtell and a brother, Charles Vaughn, both of McGregor. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
