Mary L. Schultz of Marshalltown, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Marshalltown. Mary was 70 years old. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Schultz Funeral Home in Monona. Reverend Dennis Gilbert officiated. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery.

Mary L. Schultz, daughter of Carl and Margaret (Meier) Schultz, was born July 14, 1931 at Postville, Iowa. She graduated from the Luana High School in 1948. She was employed at 3M for many years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, Christmas collectibles, and owls. She also sold Stanley Products.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Carl(Marvin)Schultz.

Her survivors include a nephew Randy and wife Laurie Schultz of Tama, Iowa; a niece, Susan Schultz of Haverhill, Iowa; and four great nieces and nephews Cory, Ryan, and Daniel Shelton and Carlee Schultz.

Honorary casket bearers were Cory Shelton, Ryan Shelton, Daniel Shelton, and Carlee Schultz.
