McGregor, Ia. - The body of Embert Johnson, 70-year old bachelor farmer of the Sny Magill vicinity, just south of McGregor was found late Tuesday afternoon in a field near his home, the apparent victim of a heart attack.
Johnson had been to dinner at the home of a neighboring farmer, Albert Franz, and was walking home when he was believed to have been fatally stricken. The Franz dog was standing beside Johnson's body when the discovery was made.
Johnson came to this vicinity from Norway when a small boy. A half-brother, William Howe of Portland, Ore., survives. Funeral services are set for Friday.
