Elkader, Ia. - Harry D. Kramer, 60, well-known Clayton County farmer, died at his home near Mederville at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday night following a three month's illness. The body is at the residence from where the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the Mederville Cemetery.
Mr. Kramer was born Sept. 19, 1882 at Elkader and he moved to Mederville when nine years old. In addition to farming, he also operated a large trout pond.
Surviving are his widow, the former Myrtle Alderson; four sons, Vernon, Newell and Milton all of Mederville, and Malcolm of Strawberry Point; seven grandchildren; and his step-father, A.B. Albrecht of Mederville.
