Garber, Ia. - Funeral services for Steve Patrick, 73, were held here at the Fairview Church with burial in the Hansel Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Jack Beddow, Avery Satterlee, Joe Hunt, and Cedric, Arthur, and Earl Hansel.
Mr. Patrick died April 2 at his farm home near here following a long illness. He was born April 28, 1869 on a farm in Clayton County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Patrick. When 24 years old he moved to Plymouth County, where he remained for 28 years, since which time he lived in this vicinity. He was married March 29, 1922 to Ellen Hansel, who survivies with one brother, Joseph of Emmetsburg, three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cox of Dubuque, Mrs. Jennie Hauscher of Emmetsburg, and Mrs. Laura Beddow of Ruthven. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
