The funeral of Henry Halverson was held from the Gunder church Tuesday afternoon and marked the laying to rest of a man who was born at Gunder, November 12, 1867, and passed away in a hospital in St. Paul, May 4, 1918. He had gone to the hospital for treatment and while there death came to him.

He was prosperous and well-liked and was noted for square dealing. After his death the remains were brought to the old home for interment. His parents are dead and he now rests beside them in the Gunder Cemetery.

Halverson of Forest Lake, Minnesota; Martin Halverson of Cut Bank, Montana; Mrs. Fred Muelenthaler and Mrs. Perry Larson of St. Paul; Mrs. William Yunck of Cut Bank and Miss Lena Halverson of Boston, Massachusetts.

The Funeral of Henry Halverson was held from the Gunder church Tuesday afternoon of last week. He had passed away at a hospital in St. Paul, where he had gone for treatment. Henry Halverson was born at Gunder and when a young man went west. He was a conductor on a passenger train for a number of years, then entered business life at Cut Back, Montana, and was successful. Diabetes had been making inroads on his health for a number of years and finally the summons came and his body was laid to rest near the home where he was born.
