Donald Glenn Palas, 56, died January 14, 2005 in Lakeland, Fl. Cause of death was injuries sustained in an airplane crash. Mr. Palas was born February 8, 1948 in Farmersburg, Iowa. He was raised in Luana, Iowa. He moved here from New Jersey 14 years ago. He was a pilot for Ferrer Aviation. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, a devoted father and husband. He was a US Marine Veteran.

Mr. Palas was preceded in death by his brother Stan Palas. He is survived by wife Linda Palas, Lakeland, FL; sons Timmy Palas, Travis Palas; daughters Jasmyn Palas and Jillian Palas, all of Lakeland, FL; his parents, Glenn and LaNida Palas, Luana, IA; sisters, Sandy Bertenshaw, St. Louis, MO, Patty Pritchard, Monona, IA, Dawn Pritchard, Des Moines, IA; brother Dave Palas, Postville, IA.

Memorial service will be Friday January 21, 2005 at 12:00 noon at Edgewood Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida.
