Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for William Miller, 69, who died suddenly Friday following a heart attack, were conducted here Monday in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. R.C. Schlueter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the City Cemetery.
Mr. Miller, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, was born near National on Jan. 10, 1874. He was married to Minnie Marie Werger, Feb. 2, 1899, and they made their home on a farm in this vicinity for 23 years, retiring in 1922.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Realto Saeugling of McGregor and Mrs. Karl Aulerich of Monona; five grandsons; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Fredericks of Emmettsburg, Mrs. Minnie Klinkenberg of Farmersburg, Mrs. Louisa Schmidt of St. Olaf, Mrs. Anna Kahle of Humboldt, S.D., and Mrs. Martha Faber of Ionia.
