St. Olaf, Ia. - Funeral services for Miss Arleen Olson, 17, were held at the farm home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Knut Olson, with the Rev. S.J. Strandjord, Lutheran pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Norway Cemetery.

Miss Olson died March 6 following a brief illness of scarlet fever. Surviving are her parents; three brothers, Vernie of St. Olaf, Gerhardt of Arlington, and Private Leo Olson at Ft. Sill, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Barnhardt of Monona, Norma of San Francisco, and Edna, at home.
