Elgin Echo, Thur., 28 March 1918.
The remains of Louie Larson arrived from the state hospital at Independence Monday evening. The funeral was held from the Highland Lutheran church, east of town, Wednesday. He was a young man twenty-one years of age.

Louie Larson, son of L. H. Larson, of Highland township, passed away Sunday evening. He was born Jan. 22, 1897, in Highland township and has been an invalid since he was eight years of age. His mother died when he was one year old. He is survived by his father and brother Adolph.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Highland church, Rev. Hjortholm, of Clermont, officiating, and interment was in the Highland cemetery.
