Elkader, Ia. - Jerry E. Kelleher, 70, died at the family home two and a half miles south of Elkader Monday morning at 12:30 o'clock after a short illness. He was born in the same house in which he died, Sept. 8, 1863, and lived there all his life.
He is survived by four sisters, and two brothers, Anna, at home; Mrs. Mae Zoch, Chicago; Mrs. Stella Beard, Detroit; Klo. Chicago; James, Elkader and Edward, Marcus, Iowa. A brother Frank, preceded him in Death in August 1933.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and died fortified by the last rites. He was also a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and the Catholic Order of Foresters, Court No. 42.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the home to St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
