Strawberry Point, Ia. - Mrs. August Storbeck, 79, died at her home here Thursday after a long illness.
Eliza Naomi Osborne, born Nov. 10, 1865 at Toronto, Canada, came to Iowa when four years of age with her parents, who settled near Osborne, north of Strawberry Point. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Osborne.
In 1885 she was married to James Duncan. He died July 9, 1929. On November 5, 1931, she was married to August Storbeck.
Surviving are the husband; a son, Lee Duncan, of Manchester; a daughter, Mrs. Ernie Melsa, Benning Station, Washington, D.C.; one grandchild; one great grandchild; a brother, Thomas Osborne, of Osborne; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Sturm, of Guttenburg, Ia.; Mrs. Anna Debes of Elkader, Ia.; and Mrs. Elizabeth Cochrane, of Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon. Burial was here.
