Farmersburg, Ia. - Funeral services for Miss Mary Walter, 69, were held from the home to the Methodist Church here Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. P.J. Alwell officiated.
Miss Walter died Sunday. She had been up and around until Thursday when a series of complications caused her death. She had been a resident of Clayton county all her life, and spent her last years with her sister, Louisa, at their home here.
She leaves her sister, Louisa Walter, Farmersburg, and three other sisters, Mrs. Barbara Henkes, Cresco, Mrs. Louis Kamber, Postville and Mrs. William Eno, Sheffield, Ia.; two brothers, William Walter, Elkader and Phil in Wagner Township, and other relatives. Burial was in the Farmersburg and Wagner Cemetery.
