GLESNE, PETERSON, THORESON, JOHNSON

St. Olaf, Ia. - Funeral services for Even O. Glesne, 82, lifelong resident of Clayton County, will be held Saturday afternoon at his farm home two and one-half miles west of here, to the Norway Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. S.J. Strandjord, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Norway Cemetery.

Mr. Glesne died at his home Tuesday afternoon following a stroke suffered two months ago. He was born Sept. 30, 1857 on a farm near here. His wife, the former Bergit Peterson, preceded him in death.

Surviving are three children: Mrs. Theodore Thoreson, Elvera and Oscar, all of this vicinity; two brothers, John of Elkader and the Rev. O. Glesne of Decorah; and one sister, Mrs. J.F. Johnson of St. Olaf.
