Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Henry Strube, 82, lifelong resident of Clayton County, were held here Thursday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Christina Friedlein, with the Rev. H.C. Covert, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating.

Mr. Strube died suddenly Tuesday afternoon of a heart attack. He was born May 26, 1858 in Jefferson Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Strube. He never married. Mr. Strube is survived by his sister, Mrs. Friedlein; and two brothers, Bruno of Yankton, S.D., and Alvin of Grindstone, S.D.
