Elgin Echo, Thursday, 13 December 1906.

The funeral services of Ole Christenson were held Friday of last week and interment was made at the Gunder cemetery. Rev. Burcett of Clermont officiated and gave a fitting address in memory of the deceased. Mr. Christenson was about 56 years of age at time of death, a good citizen and kind neighbor. He was a cousin of Tom and H. T. Knudtson of this city who attended the funeral.
