Elgin Echo, Thursday, 01 August 1912.

Mrs. Paulson passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nels Cold, near Gunder Friday, July 26. Deceased was eighty-two years old and her husband had preceded her to the other world. Mrs. Paulson was the mother of nine children, only one of whom, Mrs. Cold, survives her. She was a lady well liked in the community where she lived and her death will be greatly regretted. Funeral services were held at the Gunder church Sunday and interment made in the cemetery there.
