Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Ed. P. Eberhard, 67, were held at the family home here at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon with Dr. Dale Welch, president of the University of Dubuque, officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Eberhard died Tuesday at a Dubuque hospital following a long illness.
She was born Louisa Aulwes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Aulwes, on a farm near here on Feb. 26, 1873. She grew to womanhood in this community and on April 5, 1893 was married to Ed P. Eberhard.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Eugene of Guttenberg; two daughters, Mrs. E.L. Charlesworth of Guttenberg and Mrs. R.E. Moser of Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren; one brother, William Aulwes of Guttenberg; and two sisters, Mrs. John Kluth of Elkader and Mrs. John Duwe of Guttenberg.
