GUTHEIL, CASTLE, WEISENBERGER, PUR DUN

McGregor, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. George H. Gutheil, 80, who died Sunday night following a several months' illness, were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Pilkinton Funeral Home. The Rev. Dwight E. Webster, Methodist pastor, officiated.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Castle and was born at Milwaukee, Dec. 1, 1862. Following her marriage to Philip Weisenberger, she lived for many years at Prairie du Chien, Wis. After his death, she made McGregor her home, marrying Mr. Gutheil here 20 years ago.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. P.J. Pur Dun of Cleveland, O.; a son, William Weisenberger of Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery

~Notes: George H. Gutheil's 1st wife was Minerva (1869-1922). Eliza was his 2nd wife. Eliza's first husband Philip Weisenberger is also buried in Pleasant Grove.
