Arlington, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. M.C. Mintzlaff, 52, will be held here Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roald E. Braulick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Guttenberg. Mrs. Mintzlaff died Saturday following a three-day illness.
She was the former Nellie May Tuecke and was born Sept. 6, 1888 in Clayton County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tuecke. She was married to Dr. Morris Duwe, a dentist, who died of influenza during World War I. On Nov. 1, 1922 she married Mr. Mintzlaff at Guttenberg and in 1926 they moved to Arlington where her husband entered the hardware business. He died March 1, 1939, since which time she operated the business.
A son, Private Morris F. Duwe, of Camp Cooke, Calif., survives.
