Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Harold Morley, 39, will be held here Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence with burial in the City Cemetery. Mr. Morley, former manager of a feed mill at Osterdock, died Monday at his home following a long illness.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Morley and was born Sept. 15, 1903, at Osterdock. He was married Oct. 26, 1927, to Clara Moser, who preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1940. He then married Bernice Scanlon of Lamont at Elkader on Dec. 17, 1941.
Surviving are his widow; his father, who lives at Osterdock, three brothers, Delbert, Samuel, and Art, all of Guttenberg; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Schall of Dubuque. His mother also preceded him in death.

Guttenberg, Ia. - Clayton County Coroner D.E. Lowe said here Friday that the death of Harold Morley, 39, former feed mill operator, was termed a suicide following an inquest. Morley's body was found in the garage at his home here Monday and evidence indicated he shot himself with a .410-guage shotgun, the coroner declared. Despondency over ill health was given as the cause for his act.
Private funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon at the home with the Rev. D.A. Flesner of Clayton Center officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. The pallbearers were: William Moser, Henry Willman, Randall Seeman, William Hartman, Henry Noack, and William Tomkins.
