Buraas, Herman 1860-1943

Clermont, Ia. - Funeral services were held at the East Clermont Lutheran Church for Herman Buraas, 82, who died following a long illness. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Buraas was born Oct. 27, 1860 in Clayton County and he was married Nov. 17, 1883 to Ragnhild Olson. They farmed in this vicinity until 1919 when they retired and moved to Clermont.

Surviving are one son, Alfred of Clermont; two sisters, and four grandchildren. His wife died seven years ago. A son also preceded him in death.
