McGregor - Services for Mrs. Eric Trygg, 69, who died in a Chicago hospital Friday, after a long illness, were held at the Swedish Lutheran rural church south of McGregor Tuesday. The Rev. O.R. Hagstul officiated, and burial was in the church cemetery.
She was born Anna Larson, on Jan 5, 1875, the daughter of Ole and Anna Larson, early-day farmers on Swede Ridge, south of here. She married Eric Trygg on Oct. 11, 1899, and they farmed on the Ridge, near her parents' home, until his death in 1923. For the past six years she lived in Chicago, making her home, until she was hospitalized, with her daughter, Mrs. Reuben Hassellof.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Hassellof, are another daughter, Mrs. Albert Hallberg, Guttenberg; a son, Frederick Trygg, Burbank, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. James Armstrong, Verwood, Calif.; Mrs. Victor Soderlund, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Irving Walters, McGregor; and Mrs. Wilbert Harnack, Garnavillo; and two brothers, Frank Larson, Rockford, Ill. and Louis Larson, McGregor.
