Hazel A. Turner, eldest child of Eugene and Arantha Turner, was born in Wagner township, Clayton county, Iowa, on the 25th day of October, 1892, on the farm where the family have since resided.
She died at her home after a very brief illness, August 13, 1910, aged seventeen years, nine months and eighteen days.
The deceased had just recovered from measles when peritonitis set in, and death followed in a few days.
She leaves father, mother, a sister, and a brother, with many other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. The funeral services were held at the home on August fifteenth by Rev. Jas. B. Bird, interment being made in the family burial place at the Eno cemetery.
