Garnavillo, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Hyde, the former Loretta Walz, who died at her home Thursday, after a lingering illness, will be held at St. Mary's church, Guttenberg, Saturday morning. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, Garnavillo.

Garnavillo, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Hyde, 31, were held at St. Mary's church, Guttenberg, Ia., Saturday, with the Rev. J.O. Dupont, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. Burial was in the cemetery here. The Rev. L.C. Iekel, pastor of St. Josephs church, said the graveside prayers.

Mrs. Hyde, the former Loretta Walz, was born at Clayton, Ia., Sept 8, 1914. She attended school at Clayton and Garnavillo, and was married to Oscar Hyde, of Colesburg, on Oct. 30, 1940.

She is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walz; and one sister, Mrs. Bernice Crain, Clayton, Ia. She was preceded by a sister, Leona. The Dieckman (sic) funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
