Edward L. Montour Obituary:

Edward Levi Montour was born to Edward and Catherine (Probst) Montour. He married Sophia Wagner on January 22, 1913 at her parents home. To this union four sons were born, Floyd, Harvey, Edward and Donald.

Edward died at 79 years, 10 months and 29 days. Funeral on Wednesday, June 8, 1960 at 2 p.m., Pilgrim Evangelical United Brethen Church; lie in state at church 1 to 2 p.m. Rev C. W. Ellerbeck officiating. Soloist, Mrs. Justus Kammerer; Organist, Leila Ann Debes. Schultz’s Funeral Service, Monona, IA, were in charge of the services. Burial at the Monona City Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Carl Etteldorf, Burdette Wold, John A. Lenth, Willis Lamker, R. A Nehls and Starr Baade

Honorary Escort: Albert Henkes, Edward Sass, Fred Wiedenmann, Alvin Lamker, Vern Thompson and Leslie Seeland.
