Mrs. Bert Lyngaas, a resident of Grand Meadow township, passed away this morning at her home following a lingering illness. She had been a patient in the New Hampton hospital until Memorial Day, when the Schutte ambulance brought her to her home. No funeral arrangement had been made when we went to press.

Mrs. Engebret Lyngaas, whose maiden name was Anna Emelia Olson, passed away at her home Wednesday morning, June 4, at the age of sixty-six years, two months and nineteen days.
Mrs. Lyngaas was born March 15, 1881, the daughter of Halvor and Gunhild Olson and spent her entire life in Clayton County. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the East Clermont Lutheran church. She was united in marriage to Engebret Lyngaas on June 13, 1903 and moved to the farm where they have since lived.
She leaves to mourn, her loving husband and seven children who came to bless this union: Mrs. Gudrun Osmundson, Mrs. Alice Nygaard, Ewald, Helmer, Mrs. Eleanor Anderson, Leona and Thelma. She is survived by two brothers, Henry and Albert, and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Landsgard, Mrs. Rose Stenerson and Mrs. Selma Olson. She also leaves eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews by whom she will be sadly missed. Three sisters and one brother have preceded her in death.
Although Mrs. Lyngaas had been in ill health for some time, she bore her suffering with a smile and never complained. We are sure that the Lord has now said to her, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou has inherited the crown of life." Blessed be her memory.
Special music at the funeral which was held at the East Clermont Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon, June 7, was furnished by Arlene Amundson, Geraldine Olson, Ruth Anderson, Clarence Amundson and Oliver Larson with Signe Hanson at the organ.
Pall bearers were six of Mrs. Lyngaas' nephews; Vernon Olson, Glenn Olson, Elmer Olson, Richard O. Olson, Aines Olson and Roger Stenerson.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral included, Mrs. Albert C. Stenerson and Roger of Van Hook, N.D.; Mrs. John Jungblut, Riverside, Calif.; Rev. and Mrs. V.A.
