David Arthur Maker

David Arthur Maker, 66, of Elkader, died Oct. 9, 2012, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Visitation was held from 11 to 2 p.m. Celebration of Life October 20, 2012 at Seibert Memorial Hall, 508 Quaker Mill Drive, Manchester, Iowa.

He was born October 2, 1946, in Postville, Iowa.

He was a mechanic for over 20 years and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his children, Daniel Maker of Cedar Rapids, Dennis (Lyndsey) Maker of Marion, Roxanne (Brett) Bieber of Cedar Rapids, and Donald Maker; 3 brothers, Rick, Rod, and Terry; two sisters, Tina Reyes and Roxanne Dentrim; 11 grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Tyler, Chase, Jade, Brayden, Lindsey, Gage, Griffin, Gavin, and Alexys; and a good friend, Ashley.

David was preceded in death by his son, Josh; and his parents, Lorna Maker and Orville Maker.
