Arthur Lembke:
Buried St Paul's Cemetery, Monona. Funeral handled by Schultz Funeral Home. The Postville Herald also published an obituary.

Arthur Lembke, 84, of 1722 South St., died at 9:54 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Elm View Care Center.

He was born Feb. 2, 1899, at Monona to Frederick and Eliza Springborn Lembke. He married Lena Kuntz July 4, 1942, at Treichlers, Pa.

He attended Mankato Commercial College, Mankato, Minn., and Zanerian College, Columbus, Ohio, where he learned the art of lettering and engrossing documents. He retired from the IAAP personnel office and was an Iowa state employee later, until 1962. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Surviving: Wife; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Prough's Chapel, Dr. Robert Buhr; Lutheran Cemetery, Monona. A memorial has been established for Bethany Church.
