ALEXANDER, WHITTLE

Postville Review, Fri., 3 Sept. 1915. From the Monona Leader, Monona, Iowa.

Carl Alexander, 18 years old, who had been visiting at the Mike Whittle home, accidentally shot himself with a 44 caliber shotgun Tuesday, death resulting in a short while. The young man, who is a distant relative of the Whittles, came here from Lacrosse, where he had work as a cabinet maker. He was a native of Bohemia, having been in this country about two years. As he has no near relatives in this country he was buried here Thursday.-Monona Leader.
