Mrs. William Gray is Taken by Death at Colesburg; Mrs. William Gary 85 died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Peake at Colesburg at 5 O'Clock Monday afternoon. (January 9, 1961) The funeral is being held this Thursday afternoon at 2 P.M. at the Tuecke funeral home with burial in the Bethel cemetery near Colesburg. Mrs. Gray is survived by her husband, and one daughter.
The Grays, former residents of the Colesburg area have been living in Garnavillo since 1952.

Mrs. Gray, the former Stella S. Hansel was born in Clayton County April 7, 1875 the daughter of John and Cinderella Hunt Hansel. She was married to Mrs. Gray August 30, 1892. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Pearl Crawford of Waukeegan, Ill. and a brother John Hansel of Garber.
