APPELMAN, GROTEWHOL, LARRABEE

Gustavus Appelman, father of Mrs. Wm. Larrabee, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. C. Grotewhol, in Elkader, last Saturday morning. Mr. Appelman was among the early settlers of this section, and had by his upright character and preserverance won a competence for himself and the esteem of all his fellow citizens. The remains were brought to Clermont for interment.
