Louis J. Bigler

A Requiem Mass for Louis Joseph Bigler, 49, was said Monday, December 23, 1968 at 10 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Fowler, Colorado with the Rev. John Jasinski, celebrant. The rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Crist Funeral home. Burial was in the Fowler Cemetery.

Mr. Bigler died December 20, 1968, in St. Mary-Corwin Hospital, Pueblo, Colorado where he had been a patient for nine weeks.

The deceased was born in Clayton County on December 24, 1919. He was married to Charlotte Reckward at Clermont on August 21, 1941. They farmed near Postville until 1958 when they moved to Fowler, Colorado.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include 4 sons, Charles and Anthony of Fowler, Roger of Manzonola and Dennis of Ft. Stewart, Georgia; 2 daughters, Gloria and Cheryl at home; one brother, one sister and 3 grandchildren.
