Jade Harold Bissell

Funeral services were held for Jade Harold Bissell, 22, Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994, at Leonard-Vernon Funeral Home, Edgewood. Burial was in the Edgewood cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark White, Jim West, Chuck Domeyer, Glen Ries, Kevin Funk and Jeff Hoeger.

Jade Harold Bissell, son of Curtis and Gayla (Bond) Bissell, was born June 20, 1971, at Manchester, Iowa. He graduated from Ed-Co High School in 1989. For the past year he has been employed at Kendrick Logging Co. in Edgewood. He died Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. He enjoyed hunting and sports.

Survivors include his parents, 4 brothers, Cletus, Dustin, Zachary and Joshua, all at home; 6 sisters, Hayley (Mrs. Cameron Lewis) of Gunnison, Colo., Heidi Bissell of Edgewood, Heather Bissell of Gunnison, Colo., Sara Bissell of Earlville, Megan and Lindsay Bissell, both at home; paternal grandmother Margaret Bissell of Guttenberg; maternal grandparents Lloyd and Doreen Bond of Colesburg; and a cousin Alberta Foster of Edgewood.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Bissell.
