Alberta Cahoon, 80, McGregor, died July 25, 1988 at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 7, 1907, to Fred J. and Mary Schlitter Huff. She married Kenneth Cahoon on Oct. 3, 1928, at Nashua.

Services were held July 28 at the McGregor United Methodist Church with Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in the Council Hill Cemetery, rural McGregor.

Survivors include: her husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Mrs. Maurice (Bonnie) Meyer, McGregor; one son, Delbert Cahoon, McGregor; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Ricker, Strawberry Point, Hazel Wilkins, Monona; one brother, Everett Huff, Monona.

Pallberers were: Perry Cahoon, Kenneth Meyer, Brian Kleinow, Fred Huff, Charles Fett, Roger Thompson and Jack Schultz.
