Willis Moser dies
Waterloo Evening Courier Friday, July 17, 1914
Ulcerated Tooth Was Soon Fatal
An ailment that had its origin in an ulcerated tooth several days ago resulted in the death of Willis Moser, a farmer residing near Elk Run, at St. Francis hospital this morning at 6 o’clock.
Some time ago a tooth began aching. Treatment was given the molar by a dentist, the ulceration being lanced. Shortly afterward blood poisoning developed and to make matters worse typhoid fever set in.
The triple ailments following closely in each other’s wake quickly sapped the man’s vitality
Nine Fatherless Children
Mr. Moser’s sudden death leaves a widow and nine fatherless children to provide for themselves. His father residing at Buena Vista also survives. The decedent, who was a farmer by occupation, was about 40 years of age.
