Schnieder Rites Held

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Tuecke Funeral Chapel for Henry “Ole” Schnieder, 69, who died last Wednesday at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a brief illness.

Rev. L. P. Ouderkirk, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church, officiated at the ceremony, and burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ted Hansel, Reuben Werges, Raymond Duwe, and Gene Patrick.

Mr. Schnieder was born on April 6, 1898, in Guttenberg, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schnieder. He never married. For many years he had been employed by the Meuser Lumber Company here.

Surviving Mr. Schnieder are three brothers, Edward and Alfred of Guttenberg and Harold of Portsmouth, Virginia.
