I am not related and have no further information, this is taken from an old scrapbook that belonged to Mrs. Clara (Jones) McCartney

Mrs. Emma Richards' Remains Buried Here
Mrs. Emma Plimpton Richards died at the county home in Elkader last Sunday and was buried at Edgewood, Wednesday. the funeral services were held at the Rhines funeral home with Rev. O'Neill officiating.

Mrs. Richards was born at Cassville, Wis., June 7, 1865, and was the daughter of John Plimpton. she married Art Richards, who preceded her in death many years ago. Her son, Lynn, was buried from the Rhines chapel about a year ago. She is survived by two sisters.
