WILLIAM NELSON BOND

William Nelson Bond was born May 20, 1867 at Belvidere, Ill., son of George and Melissa Bond. He passed away at his home near Colesburg on Dec. 27 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 7 days. On June 23, 1892 he was married to Vinia Dell Grace. To this union four children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. He leaves to mourn his death his widow, their three sons, Morris of Greeley, Charles of Delaware and Wayne at home, one daughter, Mrs. Alta McDowell of Colesburg, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a half sister, Mrs. Orpha Briggman of Manchester besides many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Platt Funeral Home Monday afternoon, Dec. 29, in charge of Rev. A. H. Meyer and burial was made in the Brown Cemetery at Colesburg. Music for the service was furnished by Miss Grace Anna Holthaus who sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "God Will Take Care of You".

Mr. Bond lived for some time recently in the north part of Edgewood.
