LOUISE M. NUEHRING

Guttenberg, Iowa -- Louise M. Nuehring, 92, of Guttenberg died Tuesday afternoon, May 23, 1989 at the Guttenberg Care Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, with burial in the Guttenberg city cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tuecke Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, where the wake service will be said at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Nuehring farmed with her husband.

She was born January 17, 1897, in Guttenberg, daughter of Louis and Henrietta (Seippel) Geuder. She married Verni Nuehring March 30, 1921 in Guttenberg; he died Feb. 15, 1972.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth of Guttenberg; three daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Mildred) Dettman of Luana, Mrs. LeVeri (Ilo) Rodenberg of Garnavillo and Mrs. Arthur (Norma) Lehne of Guttenberg; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Scollard of St. Cloud, Minn. and a brother, Clarence of Guttenberg.
