Funeral services for Paul Krueger, Monona, were held on Thursday, August 17, 1978, at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Lee Mentink officiated. Helmuth Landt was the organist and there was singing by the choir and the congregation.
Pallbearers were Joe Donlon, Delbert Belschner, Glen Palas, Oliver Doerring and Curtis Zieman.
Paul J. Frederick Krueger was born April 26, 1890, in Clayton County, near Ceres, the son of Henry and Caroline Kregel Krueger. He farmed in the Luana area until retiring to Monona. The last four years he has resided at the Good Samaritan Center, Postville.
In 1935 he was marriaed to Irene Stadtmiller at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. To this union one daughter, Karen, was born.
He reached the age of 88 years, 3 months, 19 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Rudolph, Alvin and Art.
Surviving him are his daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Karen) Voss, one brother, Edgar, of Farmersburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Reinhold (Malinda) Voelz of Postville and Mrs. Fredena Schrader of Monona.
